Here’s everything you need to know about how **Story Mode** sets up your book — from page count to size, format, and orientation.

#### Can I set the number of pages?

Story Mode chooses the number of pages based on how many photos you upload. You can always add or remove pages in Mixbook Studio™ before you place your order.

#### Is there a minimum or maximum page count?

Photo books start at 20 pages and can have up to 400 pages.

#### Can I change the size of my book?

Yes, you’ll be able to choose the size, cover type, and paper type before checkout. All books created with Story Mode will be printed in square orientation. Additional orientation options will be available in the future. 

#### What types of photo books do you have?

Softcover, Hardcover, Layflat, and Albums.

#### Can I save multiple books from one Story Mode Conversation?

No, only one book per Story Mode conversation can be saved to your projects. 

#### Can I change the orientation of my book?

Today, Story Mode books are available in a square orientation only. Additional orientation options will be available in the future.   
  
**What should I do if I want a very specific book style, like portrait orientation or a particular font?**

  
Story Mode may start with a limited set of design options and creates only square orientation books. After the book is created, you can use the editor to customize many design details however, you cannot update the orientation away from square. If you need a specific orientation that is different from square t, creating the book directly in the editor using a blank book or one of our hundred of templates may give you more control.  
  
**Can I go back and compare all the generated book options?**  
  
Story Mode may let you review generated options before choosing one to edit. Before opening a book in the editor, take a moment to compare the available options and choose the one closest to what you want.  
  
**Can I edit and/or purchase all three books created by Story Mode from one session?**   
  
Today, once you have selected to add one of your Story Mode created books to your cart or edit it in the Mixbook Studio you cannot go back to order or edit the other created books. You can only select one of the three books to continue with.
